Area of application

The operator of these pages, http://owllab.at, takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. owl lab e.U. Mag. (FH) Anja Herberth offers its services in Austria in accordance with the Trade Regulation Act for management consulting, advertising and market communication.

We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. As a rule, it is possible to use our website without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or email addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

If you wish to use the (personalised) offers and services (e.g. email newsletter) offered on the website, we may require further information from you in order to provide these services and for billing purposes.

This includes, in particular, your name, your email address and, if necessary, further information (address, telephone number) that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided or that the owner agrees to receive the relevant services in order to provide the services you have requested.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

• Browser type and browser version

• Operating system used

• Referrer URL

• Host name of the accessing computer

• Time of the server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.

Right to information, deletion, blocking

You have the right to obtain information free of charge at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to correct, block or delete this data. You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for the provision of the respective services at any time. If you have any questions about this or other issues relating to personal data, you can contact us at any time at anja@owl-lab.at.

Furthermore, objecting to further use of your data means that you may no longer be able to use the services you have purchased and that we will immediately discontinue the provision of the respective service. Your personal data will be deleted in this context and will no longer be available in our database.

• under applicable law,

• to comply with legal process,

• to comply with requests from public or governmental authorities, including public or governmental authorities outside the country in which you reside,

• to protect our operations,

• to protect our rights, our safety, our privacy, or our property, and to enable us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages we may sustain.

Sensitive information

We ask that you do not send us sensitive personal data (e.g. information relating to your ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or other beliefs, health, criminal background or trade union membership) on this site or in any other way, and that you do not disclose such information.

Objection to (further) data processing and use Please note that even after you have objected to the use and/or storage of your data, we may still process your data to the extent necessary for billing purposes.

Surveys

Occasionally, owl lab e.U. Mag. (FH) Anja Herberth will ask for data to be provided in the context of surveys. Participation in such surveys and the provision of data are voluntary. The data subject is therefore free to decide whether he or she wishes to provide the relevant information and consent to the collection and processing of this data. The survey data is always encrypted. The information you provide in the interview will be recorded and processed and evaluated anonymously, separately from your contact details. In order to be able to randomly check at a later date whether the interview was conducted properly by our employees, your contact details will be stored temporarily, separately from your answers. It is therefore possible that an employee of our communications consultancy may contact you again by telephone for internal review purposes.

In rare cases, you will be asked whether your information and/or data may be forwarded by us to the client. We may only do so if you have given your specific permission.

Use of the site by minors

The site is not intended for minors and we ask that minors do not provide any personal data through the site; participation in surveys is only possible once you have reached the age of majority.

Objection to advertising emails

We hereby object to the use of contact details published in accordance with the legal notice requirement for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information materials. The operators of the website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, for example via spam emails.

All changes will take effect when we publish the revised privacy policy on the site. Your use of the site after these changes means that you accept the amended privacy policy.

The data collected by Google on our behalf is used to evaluate the use of our online offering by individual users, e.g. to create reports on website activity in order to improve our online offering.
